Sorry for the late update. It's been busy and of course with the holidays and such... Anyhow we're updated and ready to go for the rest of the month!

HAPPY OCTOBER THING

Happy Halloween everyone! My favorite holiday of the year. Fun, scary, and full of candy! Click here to learn about this holiday and how it came to be.

We added new templates and flash intros that were created in September.

We have a new family member! It's been 7 months since our beloved "Puggie" passed away and we still miss him. However, we knew it was time to add another beloved family member to our "pack". We're not replacing Puggie as he can't be replaced, but rather moving forward and providing a new loving home to a pug that needed us to be there for him.

We actually got him off CraigsList. We got him from a person claiming to be part of a rescue group. My god he was in such bad shape! Underweight, flea-ridden, caged, and not loved, we're happy to say he is doing much better. He's gaining weight, getting all the love in the world, and we got rid of his fleas. He's so affectionate! How could anyone NOT love such an adorable little man is beyond me.

We look forward to having him around for many more years to come and we'll keep you updated on his progress and integration. All I can say for now is that he needed us and we needed him.

September marks the beginning of fall. For the United States, we celebrate Labor Day. Click here to learn all about it. Fall is a wonderful time in the Northwestern part of the U.S. Time for picking apples and getting ready for Halloween. YAY! Candy!

HAPPY AUGUST THING

Unfortunately August marks the end of the summer - knowing that Labor day is September 1st, we think of the last weekend in August as the last weekend of summer. I don't know where the summer has gone but it's not long enough... at least in Ohio.

April is here and that means spring cleaning not only for your house, but for your website as well. Of course I do a lot of surfing so I see a lot of websites. My friends, there are some sites out there that need to come into the 21st century! If you own one then you've probably had a friend do it or have done it yourself and you think it's "okay". RIP PUGGIE - YOU ARE MISSED DEARLY!!
DATE: : 03/17/2008

We will be unavailable for the next few days as my beloved Puggie is no longer with us. He was a near and dear part of the SW Designs Team. Always patiently sitting around waiting for us to pay attention to him while we are on the computer for hours working. One of us always coming by to give him a kiss on the head, a good belly-rub, or just tell him what a good boy he was. Any dog would be so lucky to have so many people that loved him the way we did. He was never alone. If he didn't have human companionship, he always had our other much loved dog around, Sable.
 
I had to put Puggie down today. He had 3 bouts with cancer throughout his 11 year life. The last episode of the nasty disease took him from us. He lived like a king. I'll surely miss the little guy. Actually miss isn't the word either. There's a hole in my heart.
 
We met years ago when he was a puppy and I was dropping off one of my bartenders at home after work. She brought him out to meet me and when I was driving away he chased my car. I knew then he was somehow going to be my little man. I even mentioned to my bartender that I wanted her dog. She ended up moving and asked if I could take him. I was delighted and moved by her generosity. Pug was also very happy and quickly became a near and dear family member. He loved to go camping, liked bathing in the sun, and in the winter you could always find him near me, under a blanket or in front of a freshly started fire in the wood burning stove. Always by my side, he was a proud and tough little guy and probably didn't consider himself a dog but more human without a voice box.

 
Here's his pic of him before I made the awful journey to the vet's office. He couldn't hardly walk for a long time but we managed it with medication... then all of the sudden in the last several days his breathing became labored and we knew it was time. Taking him on his final car ride, to the vet no less, was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.

Thanks for your consideration at this time and we'll be back in a few days. There are no words for the love I had for this little man.

Good God February's over. I must say I'm looking forward to Spring (although Winter could hang around 6 more weeks in these parts). I've added new websites that were created in February as well as templates (of course).

NEW FEEBIES ADDED :: I've added several new php scripts that I thought I would share with the world, or those who wish to dabble in a little php.

Once again if you are having a server or email problem, please contact the server people directly by submitting your support tickets here and you will get immediate help. It's best to open your support ticket account with a different email than your website domain. Use like a hotmail, yahoo, or google email so that you can get emails even if your server is down.

For all you St. Patrick fans out there, I say Happy St. Patrick's Day and drink a green beer for me too! Here's the history behind St. Patrick's Day and who he was for all you buffs out there.

HAPPY FEBRUARY THING

Well we're through the first month of the new year. Amazing how time flies right out the window. New websites for the month of January have been added as well as templates that you can purchase. Our templates are really websites that have been created but left un-purchased. You can purchase just the template or have us do the pages for you. It's totally up to you.

Search engine tip: You can go here and submit your website to 18 search engines for free! Don't do it more than once per month though or you'll get banned from the engines for spamming. Also if you wish, I can create doorway pages for your website. Just contact me here and I'll get right on that for ya.

For some reason the server has been going in and out for short periods of time and I'd like to apologize for that. The server people say that they are monitoring the situation, but if you have problems you don't need to contact me necessarily. You can contact them directly by submitting your support tickets here and you will get immediate help.

I've decided to go through my list of registered domains and clear out the ones I don't have time to focus on anymore, or rather have lost interest. Answering emails is a very important part of my business and I take each and every email very seriously. The cold winter was brutal but we spent our time designing some great new things! First up. We've got some brand new flash intros that we've done for various websites. We're also including website outlines that have been created as examples. We bid on projects over at Get A Freelancer dot com so these have been created and are awaiting acceptance or denial by people who have posted projects that we've bid on.
